Yes this should would be great for embroidery. We would recommend two tips. 1. Be sure to use a good backing like Mesh or Ultra Backing 2. Do not over-stretch this shirt while hooping or it can cause puckering, Any apparel, especially polyester that may stretch, should have a tight hoop, but not over tight. Lastly, if this is the first time you are embroidering on this material it's good to get an extra shirt for practicing and testing.
