Laser Opaque transfer paper is actually designed for use with laser printers, not sublimation or inkjet printers. This product does adhere to the garment, compared to sublimation which goes 'into' the garment. Since this adheres similar to vinyl, it will have more of a feel like vinyl does. Conversely sublimation will have no feel at all.
