While this paper is the same as sheeted sublimation paper there are a couple of issues with using a very large roll for desktop printing.
1. You must cut it very precisely into sheets.
2. After it is cut, the paper sheets will curl so they must be flattened after cutting.
This is the general challenge unless you gave a roll cutting machine and a process of flattening curled paper. The savings would only be a benefit in a very high production environment.
Most users find it much easier to just print on sheets that are pre-cut like 13" x 19" Sublimation Paper or 11" x 17" Sublimation Paper
