No, 2oz Tear/Wash is too thick for standalone lace and would not produce the desired outcome. What you want is in our Soluble Topping Category and are looking for the ULTRA variations such as ULTRA SOLVY 12" X 8 YARD ROLL or ULTRA SOLVY 20" X 16 Yd Roll.
The Ultra Solvy Stabilizer is four times as thick, firm, and heavy as the Original Solvy. Great to use for stand-alone embroidery such as lace, Richelieu, and decorative stitch sewing. All Solvy is water soluble, ideal when you do not want any stabilizer to show.
